股票、债券和房产依然处于熊市，它们需要一年才能触底；触底之后，也不会立刻恢复元气

　　一年前，以美联储援救华尔街为标志，信贷危机拉开了序幕。一年过去了，这场危机何时结束依然遥遥无期。主要金融机构已经报告了约5000亿美元的损失，而且这个数字还在不断上升。它们能否存活下来一直是个疑问。
　　不过，经济运行状况却比我预期要好。在扩张性财政政策刺激下，美国避免连续两个季度负增长。2008年上半年，欧洲和日本也同样避免了一次衰退。但是，通胀却高于我的预期。美国核心CPI超过5％，欧元区4％，日本3％。新兴市场平均通胀达到两位数。全球通胀率现在为5.5％左右，创过去25年最高。
　　各国经济暂未衰退，并且通胀高企，其中存在一定关系。各国央行将经济增长的地位放在了治理通胀前面。通过频繁地注入流动性来拯救市场，央行行长们阻止金融市场出清，也就是说，推迟金融危机的经济影响。因此，经济增长才能如此出乎意料地好。另一方面，正如我2007年8月预测的那样，注入流动性会推高大宗商品的价格。按近期峰值计算，比起一年前，油价翻了一番，米价涨了2倍。虽然美国商品研究局商品期货价格指数（CRB指数）近期下降了17％，但是，仍比2007年8月的水平高出50％。

看到国内的评价，有人称伦敦巴士好，有人欣赏他们的市长，英国人自己倒是挺不客气的。不知道是不是因为这些东西给外国人看和给自己人看效果就是不同？

转载自战斗在法国，评注都是原翻译自己加的。看来大不列颠网友在批评政府方面也毫不含糊。

何可欣的年龄问题

在这两张张百度快照的截图里，何可欣的年龄只有14岁。而对外宣称她的年龄是16岁。下面还有一张: 奥组委已经下令彻底调查何可欣的真实年龄，如果属实，可能会取消何可欣的这枚金牌，并且女子体操团体那枚金牌都有可能受到连累。据英国《泰晤士报》的报道，国际奥组委已经下令彻底调查中国体操运动员何可欣的真实年龄，在何可欣的中国护照上，她的年龄明显只有14岁，如果调查属实，她很可能被剥夺金牌。

女子体操

虽然也没看多少比赛，但是除了媒体和观众的金牌躁狂症之外，让我觉得最不舒服的，就是中国女子体操运动员的年纪和身形，用这种吴桥杂技团一样的生理特点去拼金牌，是非常残忍的，而且没有美感，一点都没有。
终于今天看到这样的报道：http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/22/sports/olympics/22age.html?_r=1&hp&oref=slogin，国际奥委会要求调查中国女子体操年龄问题。

Foreign Policy列举了中国最坏的十条法律。第一条是刑法105条。

Article 105 of the Criminal Law

What it says: Criminalizes “organizing, scheming or acting to subvert the political power of the state and overthrow the socialist system” and “incitement to subvert the political power of the state and overthrow the socialist system by spreading rumors, slander or other means.”

What it does: Although China’s constitution ostensibly guarantees the right to free speech and expression, statutes such as this one allow the state to suppress all criticism. Subversion charges are a common fate for China’s activist bloggers and journalists.
